Moonriver stands along the Douzipu stream, its bent massing turning the greatest number of homes toward the water. At night the river carries moonlight and lamplight — one of Zhubei's rare gentle sceneries. The riverbank path was rebuilt with ecological methods, making an evening walk the community's most ordinary ritual.
